VGT Tech: The Faces Of Unreal Engine 3

Hey Guys, Unreal Engine 3 is a Graphics Engine developed by Epic Games. They used this for games such as Bulletstorm and Gears Of War. Other Video Game companies have used the Unreal Engine too. But, most of them are heavily modified. You want to see the difference?


Unreal Engine 3 as you can see gives great textures. Also giving some photo realistic objects. And Epic games usually uses this type of Unreal Engine 3, but they improve it a lot. And Gears Of War 3 is powered by Unreal Engine 3.5.


Unreal Engine 3 is also used in Borderlands. But this is not the kind Epic usually does, this is a much more modified version of Unreal Engine 3. The graphics are really bold in this version of Unreal Engine 3. Crackdown has the same graphics, but it's not powered by Unreal Engine 3.


I shouldn't forget that Batman Arkham City is powered by Unreal Engine 3. But I believe the graphics are slightly better then Gears Of War's graphics. There is more textures given in this version of Unreal Engine 3.
