My Problem with Ubisoft...

Hey Guys, most of you are probably excited for The Division. Well, at least most people that I talk to will not shut up about it, so I guess I'm just generalizing that most people are hyped up for the game. I personally was not awed by the beta, so I am not looking forward to the game. I think most people who are a part of the hype train for The Division are just dense because they will not listen to reason. Just read my impression of the beta if you really want to know why I am not impressed with The Division.

I want to get this off my chest because I have had enough from Ubisoft at this point. If you have not yet noticed, Ubisoft has been releasing disappointing games since late 2014. It all started with Watch Dogs and then Assassin's Creed Unity. Neither were bad games, but they were such disappointments.

Ubisoft is just filled with disappointments. I think the only Ubisoft games I purchased in 2015 were Assassin's Creed Syndicate and Rainbow Six Siege. Much like Unity, I was pretty disappointed with Syndicate. It was not a bad game, but it comes to show you how weak the story is getting in the series.

In order to show you that I'm not hating on Ubisoft, I have been playing Rainbow Six Siege on a regular basis. I really love Rainbow Six Siege. I think I have more hours put into the game than Fallout 4. Rainbow Six Siege is easily one of the most underrated games of 2015. Seriously, this easily hold its own ground against the likes of Counter Strike: GO. Trust me, they are more similar than you think. I love the idea that strategy and communication are key in playing the game.

However, even though I play Rainbow Six Siege like a madman even I can admit that the game still lacks content. It barely received a DLC map along with two new operators. Sure, it's cool that I'm getting free maps, but they are spread too far apart. This whole "release games earlier, finish it later" mentality is just ruining video games nowadays. Ubisoft is no stranger to this.

I can go on forever about how lacking in content Rainbow Six Siege is, but I still love the game. Maybe the game will be better in time, but it's still no excuse for people to buy this game at full price. I did get the most out of my experience, but I do still feel cheated.

Have you seen their trailers for The Division? The game was heavily rendered in order to appease to more people when in reality the game looks nothing like that. I am aware they do this for most of their games, but I feel I still should mention this. It's so deceiving

Although I may sound like a total pessimist right now, but I highly doubt The Division will live up to its hype. Therefore, I am now refusing to buy games from Ubisoft until they start getting their act together. I'm happy that they made some progress by not releasing the next Assassin's Creed game until 2017, but they need to seriously step their game up with it to give me hope.

If The Division actually does live up to its hype. then I will apologize. Nonetheless, I will not be buying the game unless it actually is good. Please, I really hope people who pre-ordered The Division just make some reconsideration. You can take my opinion with a grain of salt, but just think about the company behind The Division.

Resident Evil 4, 5, and 6 are coming to Xbox One & PS4: My Thoughts

Hey Guys, I know I might be a little late on this, but this is something that I found out about late. Anyways, this is something that really makes me happy because of how much of a fan I am about the Resident Evil franchise. Capcom is releasing Resident 4, 5 ,and 6 for Xbox One and PS4. Why they aren't releasing them for PC is beyond me, but they probably making console peasants such as myself feel better about ourselves.

I'm not surprised that Resident Evil 4 will be coming to Xbox One and PS4. That game is probably on almost every single platform. However, it is kind of disappointing that it will not be released until much later in the year around the same time the Friday the 13th game releases. I loved Resident Evil 4 and am totally willing to buy it for Xbox One.

The main reason why I loved Resident Evil 5 is because of the co-op. It's a great game and if you have friends to play with then it's a great buy if you have not played the game yet. However, don't buy this if you have not played previous Resident Evil games because you will not really get the survival-horror vibe. It can be argued that Resident Evil 4 is also similar in terms of action, but it did not have co-op.

I'm not sure why Resident Evil 6 is going to be the first game to be released. Probably because it is the most recent game in the series, so it isn't as hard to upgrade it to current-gen consoles. It's easily the most bipolar game in the series. Personally, I thought it was a good game, but it just did not feel like Resident Evil.

Each game will be $20 in the United States. There will even be a retail release, but it's not known if each game will be released on disc or they will be packaged on one disc like a compilation.

Xbox Live: Free Games of March 2016- A bit better....

Hey Guys, March is just right around the corner and with another month on the way means that there is more free games coming! For the past couple of months I have been disappointed by the games that have been put for free by Microsoft. However, I think this is going to be a decent month. Let me report the news first as usual and give my thoughts.

Image Provided by Major Nelson's blog

For Xbox One users, Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishment will be free for the entire month of March. Then, Lords of the Fallen will be free from March 16th-April 15th.

For Xbox 360 users. Supreme Commander 2 will be free from March 1st-15th. Then, Borderlands will be free from March 16th-31st.

Why I say this month is a bit better is because Xbox One actually has a decent lineup. I heard good things about Lords of the Fallen, so I think I might enjoy it. I might get into Sherlock Holmes, but I have not heard much about this game in particular.

Borderlands is a game that most people should have played by now. I get that it's cool that people who never played it get to download it for free, but can we get something newer? I never heard of Supreme Commander 1, so why should I try the sequel?

Sorry for a short post, I'm currently stuck with a cold and should be getting some rest for right now.

Mod support is coming to Fallout 4: My Thoughts

Hey Guys, most of us were waiting for this moment for what seems like forever. However, mod support is coming out in April.... for PC. This should not come as some surprise to any of us since it was already announced that mod support would come to PC.

According to Todd Howard, "It'll probably be a good month before it hits Xbox One, and another month for PlayStation 4". Should we really think it would be a good month before we Xbox One users get mod support? Probably not. We might have to wait a bit longer for mod support to come to consoles. Additionally, PC modkit tools are a lot more advanced than what we can get on a console. If mods did not work properly on a PC, then how do we expect to use them on weaker machines?

The point of this article isn't me getting pissed off that console peasants such as I have to wait longer. The point of this article is to address how grateful we should be that Bethesda is taking their time trying to release mod support in its best state possible.

New Fallout 4 DLC Announced: My Thoughts

Hey Guys, I'm back with some great news from Bethesda. First of all, it's been about 3 months since the release of Fallout 4, so the time has come for DLC. Seriously, having to go save settlements in a repetitive manner gets boring after a while. I'll save that for the ultra late review though. I'll show you the DLC in chronological order and give my thoughts on each of them.

If you want to see full report from Bethesda, then you can check out their official page here. For copyright purposes, I do not own the images. Anyways, let's get to the news.

Automatron
Release: March 2016
This DLC is basically about some Mechanist who releases a horde of evil robots and you have to hunt them down while using their parts to make your very own robots.

Depending on how the story behind this DLC is handled, it might be intriguing. Hopefully, people in the commonwealth will be able to react to these robots in order to make the DLC more meaningful. Additionally, if I could make the most badass looking robot with the most effective weapons then I would be more than happy with the customization. Although I might sound stupid for saying this, but no amount of badass robots will replace my Dogmeat as a companion.

Wasteland Workshop
Release: April 2016
This DLC basically allows you capture live creatures and people. Once you do this, you can have them face off against each other or your settlers in a gladiator-like battle. There is also some added customization features in the settlement building thing.

Although this sounds cool on paper, this easily has to be the worst DLC for the game even though only three were announced. Seriously, if there is no added story then why even add it to the game? However, this is just my opinion. Maybe most of you guys could get hundreds of hours worth of gameplay into this "DLC".

Far Harbor
Release: May 2016
This is the largest DLC of the three based on its $25 price tag for owners without the season pass. Apparently, it is the largest world that Bethesda has made for a DLC, so there must be a lot to offer for this. New armor, faction quests, and more have been mentioned. Check out the website for more information about this DLC.

Before I wrap up for today, I have to mention that the price for the season pass is going to increase. For North America, the price is going up from $30 to $40. However, you have time to pick up the season pass for $30 before March 1st. You will not be paying anything extra if you pay the $30 for it.

Another Call of Duty is already about to be announced....

Hey Guys, although I am usually not surprised when there is another Call of Duty released, but I was caught off guard when it was Infinity Ward who made the news. Keep in mind that this was the company who brought the "worst" Call of Duty in the series.

You can check out the tweet here.
First off, why in the world would these guys even mention another Call of Duty game for 2016 with the new DLC barely even coming out? I understand that this is the norm, but at least give it some time.

As for the tweet itself, it could mean any number of things. Maybe we are getting a Ghosts 2 or maybe we are getting a totally new COD game. Please, don't even think this will be Modern Warfare 4. That trilogy is over with and has been for almost 5 years now. Personally, I do feel that this will be Ghosts 2.

Sorry as usual for not posting as much I should be. It's still a slow month and I'm feeling down in the dumps, so I just don't feel like posting as much.

VirtuaDolls: My Thoughts

Hey Guys, it's another slow month! I might be kind of late of this, but if you have not seen this controller then there is a good reason why. VirtuaDolls is basically this controller you can use that can simulate sex with anime style characters.
I'm not going to include pictures of the controller due to the rules and technical reasons. You can check out the actual page here.
I am in no position to judge anyone who buys this. If you're into hentai or virtual women, then I think you will love this thing. However, this is easily the weirdest, yet most creative controller I have ever seen.

Want to know why I included this screenshot? Well, it sums up everything I am about to say in this article. People are going to feel ashamed to use this and won't share the news that they bought one. I think there were about 50 that were available for an "early-bird" or something like that.

Can you imagine yourself buying one of these and having people over? Neither can I because I would probably have this thing in the back of my closet if I ever had it in my position. Don't get the wrong idea here because I'm totally not going to buy this. Seriously, the girls that come with Girls of Arcadia are way too fake looking for my appeal. Regardless, I still wouldn't buy it even if the girls were realistic looking. Please, don't be that one guy who spends $500 on the create a girl bundle. I know I said I am in no position to judge, but that would be crossing the line.

Can you imagine just trying to clean the silicon after you're done? Yeah, it's still going to be dirty no matter how much you clean it. Just imagine how strong the smell would be if you eat so much meat and dairy products. You'll probably die.

Should we care that this exits? Of course not, but it does serve as an example of how far we have come in virtual reality. If only we used this kind of innovation on something more productive.
