Gameplay: 9
Not too much change is presented in Crysis 3. However, you can now hack turrents and other equipment with the Nano Visor to gain a tactical advantage over your enemies. The weapon customization returns as well, allowing you to equip any attachment you want on your weapon. Stealth is the key to getting through Crysis 3, but you can go guns-blazing if you so choose to do so. The controls are near flawless and easy to use.
Graphics: 9.5
CryEngine 3 has never looked this beautiful until Crysis 3. There is just so much detail around the New York Jungle. The grass is particular looks so realistic. The first time you see the New York Jungle, it's absolutely breathtaking. CryEngine 3 is just a great game engine, but please get this game on PC to get the most out of visuals in Crysis 3.
Story: 8.5
You take the role of Alcatraz "Prophet" or whoever. Alcatraz can now speak, but he has Prophet's voice instead of his own. The main objective of the game, take down CELL before they could conquer the world. However, Crysis 3 is shorter than Crysis 2 with only 7 missions. The game is also a bit too easy on high difficulties, but what do you expect from an EA game?
Multiplayer: 7
The multiplayer of the game isn't too bad, but I wouldn't say it's great either. The multiplayer is too similar to Call Of Duty. Also, it's hard to get into a match and it's hard to stay in a match without the host rage quitting out of the game. You can try out the multiplayer if you like to, but I advise you to stay away from it.
VGT SCORE: 8.7 OUT OF 10
Crysis 3 doesn't change too much when it comes to gameplay, but the controls are near perfect. The graphics are just so good, so I highly recommend you to get Crysis 3 on PC rather than consoles, but the consoles look good as well. The campaign is short and the replay level is moderate, so I would recommend you rent the game first before you buy it. Just stay away from the multiplayer; however, you could enjoy it.
Till Next Time!!
