Two Free Games a month for Xbox Live Gold members RANT!

Hey Guys, Microsoft announced during E3 that Xbox Live Gold members will be receiving two free games a month. However, this only lasts up until the Xbox One release. Now let me get this straight, two free games a month up until the Xbox One releases? That doesn't sound bad, right? Wrong!
First of all, Microsoft first announced Assassin's Creed 2 and Halo 3 will be free. Whatever happened to that? Currently, Fable 3 is the only free game provided to Xbox Live Gold Members. However, it has already been confirmed that Assassin's Creed 2 will be free next month. This isn't the only reason why this two free games a month is getting me angry. Another reason is the release of the games. According to the Xbox website, the games will release on the 1st and 16th of each month. It's June 20th and still no other free game has been announced. I hope this is a one time error, so I'm not too mad over this. Now, my MAIN reason why I'm angry over this deal are the games themselves. I already own Assassin's Creed 2 and Halo 3. About every Xbox 360 owner has the game already! Why not put in brand new games or put games that are under-the-radar, but are good? I just find it a waste of time for Microsoft to be making games free even though most people might already own the game.

I don't know about you guys, but I'm not too satisfied about this deal. If Microsoft was so thankful about everyone joining Xbox Live, why not make NEW games free. I don't care if they just add ONE new game free. I just want to have a $60 game for FREE. Maybe Microsoft can give deals to Xbox Live Members on the Xbox One!

Call of Duty: Ghosts (Accidentally) Revealed?

Hey Guys, it's been about 5 months since the release of Call of Duty Black Ops 2. In addition, there has been about only two DLC map packs released so far. We all knew this was coming, but there is another Call Of Duty game coming out this year. This time, it's from Infinity Ward.
This leaked image from Tesco direct shows that a next Call of Duty game is releasing. If you're wanting to pre-order this game, you'll have to wait because this page has been taken down. According to this leaked image, the next game will be called Call Of Duty: Ghosts.

Only screenshots were shown for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, so it's unknown if this game is releasing on next-gen consoles. However, I know for a fact this is coming on PlayStation 4 and Wii U. For now, there are almost no details about the game.
The full reveal of the game will be released on May 1st, so be sure to look for the trailer. I have to say that this game might be a prequel to the Modern Warfare series. Many speculations have been made that Ghost from Modern Warfare 2 will be the main protagonist of the game. I also want to say that it's just a bad idea that another Call of Duty game is coming out. Come on Infinity Ward, Black Ops 2 barely came out and you actually reveal another game!?

Crysis 3 Review

Hey Guys, Crysis 3 is the sequel to Crysis 2 which came out back in 2011. Crysis 3 takes place over 24 years after the events of Crysis 2. But the question is, is the game good?
Gameplay: 9
Not too much change is presented in Crysis 3. However, you can now hack turrents and other equipment with the Nano Visor to gain a tactical advantage over your enemies. The weapon customization returns as well, allowing you to equip any attachment you want on your weapon. Stealth is the key to getting through Crysis 3, but you can go guns-blazing if you so choose to do so. The controls are near flawless and easy to use.

Graphics: 9.5
CryEngine 3 has never looked this beautiful until Crysis 3. There is just so much detail around the New York Jungle. The grass is particular looks so realistic. The first time you see the New York Jungle, it's absolutely breathtaking. CryEngine 3 is just a great game engine, but please get this game on PC to get the most out of visuals in Crysis 3.

Story: 8.5
You take the role of Alcatraz "Prophet" or whoever. Alcatraz can now speak, but he has Prophet's voice instead of his own. The main objective of the game, take down CELL before they could conquer the world. However, Crysis 3 is shorter than Crysis 2 with only 7 missions. The game is also a bit too easy on high difficulties, but what do you expect from an EA game?

Multiplayer: 7
The multiplayer of the game isn't too bad, but I wouldn't say it's great either. The multiplayer is too similar to Call Of Duty. Also, it's hard to get into a match and it's hard to stay in a match without the host rage quitting out of the game. You can try out the multiplayer if you like to, but I advise you to stay away from it.

VGT SCORE: 8.7 OUT OF 10
Crysis 3 doesn't change too much when it comes to gameplay, but the controls are near perfect. The graphics are just so good, so I highly recommend you to get Crysis 3 on PC rather than consoles, but the consoles look good as well. The campaign is short and the replay level is moderate, so I would recommend you rent the game first before you buy it. Just stay away from the multiplayer; however, you could enjoy it.

Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag Confirmed

Hey Guys, this might be kind of late, but Ubisoft confirmed Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag is releasing this year. That's right, another Assassin's Creed game is coming out sooner than we thought.
Only a few details were released about Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag. The game is set in a different time period and has a new assassin, Edward Kenway, who is the father of Haytham Kenway and the grandfather of Conner from Assassin's Creed 3. More details will be released on March 4th.

Furthermore, the game is set for a release date of October 29, 2013 and will release on next-gen consoles. Don't worry, it will release on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 as well.

In other news, the new Tomb Raider game will be released on March 5th. So far, the game is acclaimed by Critics and I'm even excited for it.

A Serious Post On Violent Video Games

Hey Guys, I want to talk about a serious topic today. We all know about the Connecticut Incident that occurred on December 14th. However, what makes me angry is that many people want to pinpoint the blame on violent video games. I want to state a few reasons why this is such an impulsive accusation.

People Have a Conscience
In reality, people know the difference between right and wrong. There are about 6 billion people in the world and a majority of them play video games. I don't see anybody now a days doing carjackings or bank robberies. I live in Illinois and surprisingly, the crime rate has actually started to decrease here.

People With Asbergers Are Humans Too!
The shooter is 20-year old Adam Lanza. He happens to have Asbergers as well. People have also been blaming that people with Asbergers Syndrome are more susceptible to actions in video games than anyone else. I like to contradict this statement because there is NO EVIDENCE proving that this is true. I happen to personally know friends and family with Asbergers Syndrome and Autism who play violent video games and are perfectly normal!

Video Games Are For Entertainment!
Video Games and Movies depict extremely violent actions that are meant for entertainment. Video Games are made for people to enjoy, so they can be somebody they aren't and escape reality. Yet, the media want to blame violent Movies and Video Games for the tragedy. Think about this for a minute, the reason for these violent media is for ENTERTAINMENT. Besides, these industries make billions of dollars in revenue. So please, Movies and Video Games are connected in these shootings.

So for all of you who also blame violent video games for the Connecticut shootings, you're 100% idiotic. These forms of media are for Entertainment, not some kind of training simulator.
