Catherine Review

Hey Guys, after about three day of challenging and frustrating puzzles, I finally managed to finish the survival horror game, Catherine. I loved Catherine, I thought it was pretty fun and challenging. Although, I ended up getting the worst possible ending in the game. But anyway, what score does Catherine deserve?
Screenshot23.jpg

Story: 9.5
The best part of Catherine is the story. Things spice up once you progress through the story, but the outcome is based on you the gamer.

Gameplay: 9
The controls can take some time to get used to, but you'll learn fast. Using blocks to climb during the nightmare stages require critical thinking. If you screw up once, you're pretty much done. It can be frustrating, but you'll soon pass it. Also, there is a Karma meter based on your actions. The questions you answer will either have a negative or positive effect on the story. Questions include, texting, Confessions in the nightmare levels, and interacting with other people. Getting good karma will lead you to Katherine and bad karma will lead you to Catherine.

Graphics: 8.5
When it comes to the gameplay, the graphics look pretty good. The anime cutscens look wonderful in enriching HD. So all in all, the game looks beautiful in HD.

VGT Score: 9.85 Out Of 10
Even though the game has a frustrating difficulty, it's still worth playing it again. In total, there is 8 possible endings. I got the worst like I said, but I'm not spoiling it. The graphics are outstanding in HD. Climbing blocks is a fresh new idea and choosing questions to change the story has been done before. Such as Heavy Rain. However, I highly recommend you play this game.
Till Next Time and A Happy New Year!!

Homefront Review

Hey Guys, Homefront was met with mixed reviews upon its release. So I checked it out for myself to see what was so bad about it. But the game was good, but not that good.
Homefront Screenshot

Story: 9.5
Homefront probably had one of the best stories of the year. It's presentation was excellent, explaining the fallen America that is now occupied by the Koreans. Although, the campaign is completely short, it would take about 4-6 hours to complete. I beat the game yesterday, the day I bought Homefront. But I think the campaign is still enjoyable.

Graphics: 6
Compared with games such as Crysis 2 and Battlefield 3, Homefront failed with the graphics. And this was the first time Unreal Engine 3 did look bad. Textures are terrible around the environment, but the guns have some texture added to it. All in All, Unreal Engine 3 isn't the type of Game Engine for first person shooters, so it should stick with 3rd person.

Gameplay: 7
Homefront brought some interesting gameplay mechanics. This is the first game I played that the hit-marker appears in a campaign. Otherwise, it feels like your typical first person shooter. A little note, be sure to adjust the look sensitivity before you start playing the game.

Multiplayer: 10
The real reason I bought Homefront was for the multiplayer. If you have the time or finished the campaign, the Multiplayer has some great offers. The multiplayer was inspired by the Battlefield franchise. There is also some interesting mechanics when you play multiplayer. For instance, when you spawn, your able to see the whole map and enemy position. And your able to buy objects with Battle Points. Finally, face off with over 32 players in a Match.

VGT Score: 8 Out Of 10
Despite the short campaign, average graphics, the plot of Homefront is outstanding. But I highly recommend you buy the game for it's superior multiplayer. I don't think Homefront is terrible, it would be perfect if the graphics were improved, the campaign would be longer, and some new gameplay mechanics would be added or at least improved.

Call Of Duty MW3: More About Kill Confirmed

Hey Guys, most of you played Kill Confirmed on Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 3. Although it's just like Team Deathmatch, just changed a little. Also, there is some advantages and disadvantages to Kill Confirmed.

Kill Confirmed overall is a pretty great game type. I love the XP that is offers, which is the reason to start playing in it. Although, in Kill Confirmed it's easier to die then any other game mode. But you can get more kills behind Ground War.

The whole objective of Kill Confirmed is to collect enemy dog tags in order to win the game. To get dog tags, you need to kill an enemy, be aware of any other enemies, as they could take their teammates' dog tags. If a dog tag is red, then it's your teammates' dog tag, if it's yellow then it's an enemy's dog tags.

I like Kill Confirmed; I love the XP that it offers. Also, you can get more kills from it, but it's much more easier to die in Kill Confirmed.

Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 3 Review

Hey Guys, I've been playing Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 3 for only a day and so far it's an OK game. I think Call Of Duty Black Ops did slightly better than Modern Warfare 3. But let's see what score Modern Warfare 3 will receive.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Screenshot

Campaign: 8.5
The campaign was pretty good. I didn't finish it though because I was spending more time on the multiplayer. Also a little note, if you play the campaign on veteran difficulty, it's pretty easy. As a matter of fact, this is the easiest Call Of Duty game to finish on Veteran difficulty. And it's the shortest game in the Modern Warfare series.

Graphics: 8
The graphics are much more improved than Black Ops. There is also much more texture to the guns. But as usual, some textures of the building are missing or blurry. So all in all, the graphics are good.

Gameplay: 8
Like every Call Of Duty game, you can't see your legs. The diving action that was featured in Black Ops was removed as well. The controls feel like your typical first person shooter. Compared to Battlefield 3, Modern Warfare 3 didn't do as much improvement to the gameplay as they should.

Multiplayer: 9
The only reason to get Modern Warfare 3 is for the Multiplayer. I had so much fun playing it. Although there's 10 pretiges and 80 levels, Modern Warfare 3 will likely take up most of your time. Also your able to choose your Killstreak classes. Which are Assault, Support, and Specialist.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Screenshot

VGT Score: 8.5 Out Of 10
The Campaign for Modern Warfare 3 is pretty fun if you don't have online. But the real reason to get Modern Warfare 3 is the addicting Multiplayer. The gameplay didn't change that much or at all. The graphics seemed to changed and improve your experience. All in all, the best part of Modern Warfare 3 is the multiplayer. So it's much better to get Battlefield 3 or something. By the way, look for the Assassin's Creed Revelation Review, coming soon.

Superm6031: Hey Guys, I want to wish you all Happy Holidays from Video Gamer's Tribune. And today I bring you a sequel to the original Left 4 6 Christmas Special for Two Gamers. The story takes place on an island. Rob won a vacation to a private getaway and he invites all his friends. Little do they know, there vacation would turn into a nightmare.
Marcus: How long do we have left to get on that Island Rob?
Rob: About 15 minutes or so.
Nick: Perfect! This is just the thing I want to do on the holidays.
Marley: I hear the sarcasm in your voice Nick.
Nick: Ya think?
Bob: Why are you guys so mad? Come on it's Christmas!
Darry: Just because it's Christmas doesn't mean we'll act any different.
Bob: It would be nice if you did.
Marcus: Why don't both of you just shut up?
*The Plane Lands*
Rob: We're finally here guys!
Marley: Well it's about time.
*Everyone gets off the plane*
Marcus: This place seems quite.
Rob: It's a private island, what else do you think?
Marcus: No, something doesn't feel right.
Bob: What doesn't seem right now Marcus?
Marcus: Well remember what happened last year?
Nick: Like anyone forgot that.
*A Guy Appears*
Darry: Hey look a local!
Marcus: Wait a second...
Rob: What are you so worried about?
Marcus: Didn't you say this was a private island?
Rob: Yeah, why?
Marcus: Then why is this guy here, he looks sick too.
Rob: Wait, this is a private island.
Marley: And I don't think this guy is a local.
Darry: What are you talking about? He's harmless.
*He Grabs Darry*
Marley: This guy ain't human!
Bob: Holy God!
Darry: DON'T JUST STAND THERE, HELP ME!!!
*Marley Punches The Guy Off Darry*
Rob: Let's Get Outta Here!
*They All Run In A Building*
Marley: Ok, can anybody explain what I just saw!
Marcus: That "guy" was a zombie.
Bob: A Zombie? Really Marcus!?
Marcus: Think about it, we are on an Island, there was a Zombie!?
Rob: Dead Island...
Nick: Holy Crap, I thought that game was fake!
Marcus: It is fake Nick, use common sense.
Bob: Now we gotta get off this island.
Rob: Getting out of that Mall last year was easy, but this is going to be hard.
Marley: Well this Island doesn't have any technology so far. Obviously this is going to be hard.
Nick: Hey Guys! I found some crowbars!
Marcus: At least we have something to defend ourselves.
Rob: Ok, if we can get to that airport we arrived from. Then we can signal for help.
Darry: How are we supposed to signal for help?
Marcus: It's an airport, they gotta have some kind of flare gun.
Marley: Your right!
Nick: What helicopter would land here!?
Bob: There's over 6 billion people in the world, there has to be somebody out there.
Darry: Well what are we waiting for?
*They leave the building*
Marcus: Oh my god!
*A Crowd Of Zombies Surround Them*
Bob: How are we supposed to get through!?
Darry: Oh man, we're going to die!
Marley: Shut Up Darry!
Marcus: Ok I have an idea... RUN!!!!!
*They Run Through*
Rob: That's your best idea, Run!?
Marcus: You gotta better idea?
Rob: Good point.
Marley: There's the airport!
Nick: Keep Running!
*They Enter The Airport*
Marcus: Ok, let's find a flare gun somewhere.
Marley: There's no time.
Marcus: Why not?
Marley: Look!
*Zombies Break In*
Bob: Where do we go!
Rob: There's nowhere to hide or run, we're all going to be a zombie.
Marcus: No we can't give up!
Marley: We have to Marcus, there's no other way.
Nick: Great, dying on Christmas, that sucks!
*A Helicopter Breaks In*
Marcus: What the?
Darry: Hey Guys! While you were running I manged to find a helicopter. Pretty neat.
Marley: Just get us in!
*Everyone Gets On The Helicopter*
Bob: Well at least we ain't going to be a zombie.
Nick: Talk about relief.
Marcus: Well another Christmas gone wrong.
Marley: And only one guy to blame.
Rob: What?
*Everyone beats up Rob*
Superm6031: Sucks to be Rob. Anyway, Merry Christmas To All, And To All A Good Night! Till The Next Episode.

Battlefield 3: The Ranks

Hey Guys, I have had Battlefield 3 for over two months as of today. Currently, I am on level 34 and I'm trying to get to the highest rank. But it's difficult to level up. Today, I'm going to tell you more info on the ranks and how to rank up faster.

In Battlefield 3 the max is 145. There are 45 regular ranks which the highest in colonel and you have the option to keep going to get to 145. Service stars and Medals can help you level up faster so keep that in mind. Also, I heard playing in the Support class can help you level up faster as well.
Bf3badges.png
To be honest, there is no real answer to leveling up fast in Battlefield 3. You just have to keep playing and hope for the best. And I've been playing with the Assault class and it's pretty good. Just be sure to get the game early since it takes a long time to rank up.
