Battlefield 3 Premium Reaches 800,000 Members

Hey Guys, EA has confirmed that the Premium service for Battlefield 3 has over 800,000 members. However, I did say to avoid it in my last post.
Next time, I'll describe how bad EA really is. They used to be a good company but no. Like Battlefield Premium, all you're paying for is the Map Packs, the rest should be free.

Mass Effect 3 Review

Hey Guys, the final entry in the Mass Effect trilogy will end the story of Commander Shepard and it's your job to take earth back!

Gameplay: 9
I love that you are able to choose dilouge during cutscenes, but it will effect the rest of the game. It can go from the fate of a character to the fate of a Colony. There are three ways to play the game: RPG, Story, and Action. I highly recommend playing on RPG since it's like playing a regular Mass Effect game. You're able to upgrade your powers and weapons. Also, the level system returns in Mass Effect 3. I almost forgot, for those of you who aren't familar with the Mass Effect series, you're able to customize your character and your armor. A little note to, an online pass is required for online play and the Galaxy At War system. I'll talk about the Galaxy At War system at the end of this review. But be sure to buy Mass Effect 3 new, NOT PRE-OWNED. You're able to create a romance with most characters inclding same-sex relationships. Sadly, the enemy AI are smarter than your team AI
Graphics: 8
The enviroment around you look detailed along with the holographic items as well. But there is some glitches with the engine. Also, most of the character models look bland and especially on Commander Shepard.
Multiplayer: 7
I didn't really enjoy the multiplayer. But this is where the Galaxy At War system comes in. You're able to create a total new character for the multiplayer and highest level you can reach is twenty. Galaxy At War is supposed to help you get the best ending possible in Mass Effect 3 which is EMS. The higher it is, the better the final battle is. War assests, multiplayer wins, and multiplayer characters help increase the EMS.
Story: 9.5
A lot of tension is in this game, the dilouge is pretty good. A lot of twist and turns happen in the game. The story will take about, 15-30 hours to complete depending on how you play it. Insanity will make it longer. You'll be so excited to play the game and can't wait to play it.
VGT SCORE: 9 OUT OF 10 (EPIC)
The story is great and full of tension. I wounl't play the multiplayer, all you're doing is surving waves of enimies. The graphics are good. But be sure to buy new copies of Mass Effect 3 since it has an online pass. I got a new copy for $30.

Mass Effect 3 Extended Cut Coming Next Week

Hey Guys, the free download for Mass Effect 3 will be released on June 26th on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC, and July 4th in Europe on PlayStation. This download is 1.09GB, so save some space on your hard drive. This was however, announced back in April.
This extended cut was made to add more cutscenes and an epilogue to explain Shepard's journey due to game's really bad ending, but it doesn't change it. I didn't beat it though and I will post a review sometime in the future. So if you didn't like the ending, you know what to do.

Battlefield Premium: Not Worth It

Hey Guys, I just want to say that the Battlefield Premium is not worth the money. It's just as bad as Call Of Duty Elite. Think about it, it's just EA's attempt to make more money.

First, let me list the benefits that come with the Battlefield 3 Premium service,
  • You get all the Map packs for free which include Back To Karkand, Close Quarters, Armored Kill, Aftermath, and End Game. Since EA make overpriced DLC, this is a $75 value in the US. And that's 20 maps in total. And you can play them two weeks early before they are released.
  • Also you are given 20 new weapons, 10 new vehicles, 4 new game modes, 30 more assignments (which I really don't care about), and 20 new dog tags which come with each of the DLC when they are released. What kind of crap is this! You can get all that for free in an UPDATE!
  • You are also given Double XP events and weapon drops. You can also be given these free in an UPDATE!
  • You are also able to reset your stats and customize an emblem. You can get this free in an UPDATE!
All in all, it's just not worth it. You might as well walk to a ledge and throw away 50 dollars from it. The only thing that's worth it are the map packs since you get them all for the the price of $50 instead of $75. Otherwise, your wasting your money on content that can be free. So screw both Call Of Duty Elite and Battlefield Premium, I have better things to do with my money.
