Resident Evil Operation Raccoon City Review

Hey Guys, I've been a fan of Resident Evil for a pretty long time. But when I played Operation Raccoon City, I though to myself when did Resident Evil go wrong.

Story: 5
Events that occurred in Resident Evil 2 do appear in Operation Raccoon City. Although I have no idea what this team is dealing with. It goes from one scenario to another, and one mission to another. Let alone that this game is relatively short. And the worst part of the story is that your mostly killing military members rather than zombies.

Graphics: 7
Even when your playing the game in 1080p, the graphics are just average. But the character models are pretty good looking. And somehow, the graphics are bold looking.

Gameplay: 6
Capcom always wants to try something new with Resident Evil when it comes to the gameplay. If you played Resident Evil Outbreak, you can turn into a Zombie but you loose control over your character. There is also this new element is the game where you can automatically take cover, but this is extremely annoying. If I recall correctly, this is probably the only Resident Evil game where you can dive. Also, the gun shots are extremely unrealistic sounding. Overall, the Gameplay is just mediocre.

Multiplayer: 5
I didn't enjoy the Versus mode, the only good mode is the Heroes mode. And the Co-Op is pretty good, but since the game is bad, it's hard to even find a match. So not even the Multiplayer is enough to actually make this game "fun".

VGT SCORE: 5 OUT OF 10 (MEDIOCRE)
The story honestly has nothing to do with the main storyline of the Resident Evil Franchise. Thee Gameplay is average and sometimes bad. The graphics are average as well. And the Multiplayer and Co-Op don't really make it up to the hype. So please for the love of god, don't pay $60 dollars for this game, at least rent it to see if you like. Where did Resident Evil Go Wrong?!
Till Next Time!!
