The Assassin's Creed franchise spans centuries, featuring numerous heroes, villains and a vast mythology that grows more and more complex with each passing game. But at its heart, the series is about three men and their quests to discover their destinies.

With Assassin's Creed Revelations just around the corner, we're going to start digging into Ubisoft's epic series, starting today with a spotlight on Ezio, Desmond and Altair. We've broken down each character's past and future, and have also included some incredible video and art content courtesy of Ubisoft.
