Should you buy the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Trilogy?

Hey Guys, there is a Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Trilogy that has been listed for $30. Sounds like a great deal, right? Well, I am going to be talking about this in the most neutral way possible.

Keep in mind that the Stimulus Pack for Modern Warfare 2 is the only DLC available in this entire trilogy bundle. Additionally, this is only available for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. As of May 14th, there is no Call of Duty game that is backwards compatible for the Xbox One, so this is only available for last-gen consoles.

I can't count how many times I said this, but if you were to release a bundle like this then every bit of DLC should be included! These games are really old now, so why would it matter if every DLC was given for free? I understand that people still play these games online to this day, but that's exactly why the DLC should be free, so the games could have a wider group of players.

Personally, I loved the campaigns for each of these games especially Modern Warfare. I think it is a great trilogy in terms of the story, but the fact that there is a severe lack of DLC included in this bundle is what is preventing this from being a great bundle.

So should you buy this? If you want to experience the story of Modern Warfare and never got the chance to, I would say pick it up. Otherwise, do not buy this if you are planning on going back into the multiplayer since most DLC is not included.

Seriously, Infinity Ward are a bunch of cheap bastards. If you can get your hands on Borderlands 2: Game of the Year Edition for $20, which has over a $100 worth of DLC included, then I'm 100% positive that Infinity Ward is more than capable of giving every bit of DLC for each game in this bundle.
Till Next Time!!
