Super Mario 3D Land, Mario Kart 7 Get Release Months

Nintendo renames both titles.

Along with the announcement of a massive price cut for the 3DS, Nintendo also revealed the release months for two upcoming titles, Super Mario 3D Land and Mario Kart 7.

Both titles were previously known as Super Mario 3DS and Mario Kart 3DS

Super Mario 3D Land will release in November 2011 in North America and Japan. Mario Kart 7 is coming one month later in December in both territories. Release months for Australia and Europe were not provided at this time.

Nintendo reaffirmed Kid Icarus: Uprising is coming this holiday season.

Mario and Sonic at London 2012 Released in 2011

Superstar team-up is heading for a November 2011 release.

Sega has announced that the Wii version of Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games will be released on 18 November, 2011 in the UK and 15 November in the US. That's a good nine months before the actual summer games open in July 2012.

The third iteration of the mini-game series cocontains new events, like football and horse riding. And it also comes in special box that replaces the usual white Wii borders with yellow.

A 3DS version of the game is coming a little bit later – look for that one in February 2012.
