New Assassin's Creed Comic Coming

Comic line continues with 'The Chain'.

UK, July 26, 2011

Ubisoft's multimedia company Ubi Workshop, has announced Assassin's Creed: The Chain, a new comic book mini-series to follow on from last year's The Fall.

The Eisner award-winning Karl Kerschl and Cameron Stewart will return to write the sequel, which is set to continue the adventures of Nikolai Orelov, an Assassin based in Soviet Russia, and his descendant Daniel Cross, living in 1998.

There's no word on when The Chain's first issue will release but Ubisoft is compiling the full run of The Fall for a collected edition in November. The collection will also include a bonus epilogue to lead right into The Chain, so don't expect the new series until after its release.

That should tie in nicely with Assassin's Creed: Revelations, which launches on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC in November.
